Welsh Guards St David’s Day Parade – Bridgend 2025

This morning, the Welsh Guards proudly stepped onto the streets of Bridgend for our St David’s Day Parade, and what a turnout it was! The people of Wales lined the streets in force, reminding us once again of the deep bond between our regiment and the communities we serve.
The day began with a moving service led by our Padre, reflecting on the sacrifices and achievements of Welsh Guardsmen past and present. After the service, the Battalion received their traditional leeks from the chain of command—an honour that connects us to the generations who came before us.
Marching alongside us today were our esteemed veterans, the brilliant Welsh Guards Band, and members of the Cadet Force, proudly carrying on the traditions of service and dedication. Seeing all generations of the Welsh Guards family on parade was a powerful reminder of our shared history and the strength of our regiment.
To everyone who came out to support us—diolch o galon. Your cheers, your presence, and your unwavering support mean the world to us.
