Tankers from Denmark, Italy, Slovenia, Switzerland, and the United States kicked off the U.S. Army Europe and Africa International Tank Challenge with an opening ceremony on Feb. 11, 2025, in Germany.
Representing III Armored Corps, tank crews from the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, are competing alongside 11 crews from five Allied and Partner for Peace nations. The competition sharpens tactical skills, strengthens interoperability, and fosters esprit de corps among NATO allies and partners.
